The 43rd Spin!

Huzzah, it's time for the 43rd Spin!  You know the rules, so let's get to the list:

  1.  Eichmann in Jerusalem, by Hannah Arendt
  2. Two Years Before the Mast, by Richard Henry Dana
  3.  Amerika, by Kafka
  4. The Leopard, by di Lampedusa
  5.  Phineas Finn, by Anthony Trollope
  6. The Well at the End of the World, by William Morris
  7. The Tale of Sinhue (ancient Egyptian poetry)
  8. Stories of Washington Irving
  9. Life and Fate, by Vasily Grossman (this would be quite a feat!)
  10.  The Poetic Edda
  11.  The Law and the Lady, by Wilkie Collins
  12. It is Acceptable (Det Gaar An), C. J. L. Almqvist
  13.  The Obedience of a Christian Man, by William Tyndale
  14. The Once and Future King, by T. H. White
  15. Peter the Great's African, by Pushkin
  16. Lives, by Plutarch (vol I)
  17. Sybil, by Disraeli
  18. Polyhistor Solinus
  19.  Folktales collected by Afanas'ev (vol I of 3)
  20.  Sagas of Icelanders (aiming for 50% by the due date)

My preference would be Polyhistor, Poetic Edda, or the sagas.  Or the fairy tales -- Once and Future King or Afanas'ev.  So, best of luck to us all!  The due date for finishing and posting about the book is March 29th.

Which book will it be??
