Classics Club Spin #41!

Huzzah, it's time for another CC Spin, my favorite event!  You know the rules, so here's my list:

  1. The Leopard, by di Lampedusa
  2.  Phineas Finn, by Anthony Trollope
  3. The Well at the End of the World, by William Morris
  4.  The Law and the Lady, by Wilkie Collins
  5. It is Acceptable (Det Gaar An), C. J. L. Almqvist
  6.  The Duchess of Malfi and The White Devil, by John Webster
  7.  The Obedience of a Christian Man, by William Tyndale
  8. No Name, by Wilkie Collins
  9. Peter the Great's African, by Pushkin
  10. Stories of Washington Irving
  11. Second-Class Citizen, by Buchi Emecheta
  12. Life and Fate, by Vasily Grossman (this would be quite a feat!)
  13. Sybil, by Disraeli
  14. Polyhistor Solinus
  15. The Tale of Sinhue (ancient Egyptian poetry)
  16.  Eichmann in Jerusalem, by Hannah Arendt
  17. Lives, by Plutarch (vol I)
  18.  Sagas of Icelanders (aiming for 50% by the due date)
  19. Two Years Before the Mast, by Richard Henry Dana
  20.  Amerika, by Kafka

Lucretius worked out really well last time and I'd quite like another classical title, like Polyhistor or Plutarch but hey, William Morris...?  That sounds good too.

In other news, I'll be out of town for the next week or so, so I might not get to posting my lucky spin number until I get back.  I'm going on an adventure!  And then to visit friends!
